Privacy Policy
This page says what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect, and why
| Waiting list | Your email address, your first name if you give it, the date you signed up, and a referral code we generate for you. We use it to tell you when we launch and to send the emails you signed up for. Legal basis: your consent. |

The Meta pixel
This site can load the Meta (Facebook) pixel. It tells Meta that a browser opened this page, and if you join the waiting list it tells Meta that a signup happened. It does not send Meta your email address or your name.
It is here so that we can measure whether our advertising works. Meta sets cookies of its own when it loads, and Meta can connect what it sees here with an account you have with them.
When we ask first. If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, nothing is loaded until you say yes: a notice appears and the pixel stays off until you accept it. Decline and it is never loaded. We store your answer in your own browser so we do not ask again, and nowhere else.
Everywhere else the pixel loads when the page opens, which is why it is described here.
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookies link at the bottom of the home page. You can also block the pixel with a content blocker or with your browser's tracking protection. The waiting list works exactly the same either way — nothing on this site depends on the pixel.
What we do not do
- We run no analytics of our own. Apart from the Meta pixel above, this site sets no cookies.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not build profiles about you ourselves, and no decision about you is made automatically.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of services to run the business. They only process your data to provide their service to us.
- Cloudflare — hosting for this site, and the storage where waiting-list signups are kept.
- Brevo — sends the emails you subscribed to.
- Supabase — our database, hosted in the EU (Ireland).
- Shopify — the store, once it opens.
- Lulu — prints your book and ships it. They receive your shipping address because they are the ones putting it in the post.
- Meta — receives the pixel events described above. Meta decides on its own how it uses that data, so for this one we are not the only ones responsible for it.
Some of these are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or on an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
- Waiting list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
- Orders: as long as accounting and tax law requires us to keep the records.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, hand it over in a portable format, or object to us using it. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD. We would rather you told us first so we can fix it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed up, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we have your email, we will tell you.
